Either one of these will tell you a lot about the interviewer. This knowledge is very useful, especially if you are uncomfortable meeting new people. The more you know about the person, the less likely you are to be nervous. Plus, you may find a few points you have in common. This will give you more ways to relate to the interviewer.
Last but not least, remember that interviewing is very stressful for almost everyone. This includes the person or people who will be interviewing you. Have a story, joke, or conversation topic to discuss aside from the job. This will help break the tension and make you look like a cool calm professional.
